About Amy Brandt
Amy Brandt is passionate about helping singers of all ages discover their unique voices and explore music with confidence. With more than 10 years of experience as a voice teacher, Amy combines technical expertise, creativity, and voice science to support each singer’s individual growth.
Whether you are taking your first voice lesson, returning to singing after time away, or preparing for an audition or performance, Amy creates lessons that are engaging, practical, and tailored to your goals. Her teaching encourages self-expression, builds confidence, and gives singers the skills to continue growing outside the studio.
Amy holds a Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance and a Master of Music in Voice Pedagogy and Performance from Westminster Choir College of Rider University, where she was fortunate to study with inspiring pedagogues including Nova Thomas, Sally Wolf, Kathy Price, and Susan Ashbaker.
As a performer, Amy has sung with ensembles including the Philadelphia Philharmonic, the Juilliard Orchestra, the Princeton Community Orchestra, and the Westminster Choir. Her operatic roles include Zerlina in Mozart’s Don Giovanni, Lauretta in Puccini’s Gianni Schicchi, and Mademoiselle Silberklang in Mozart’s Der Schauspieldirektor.
Her performance experience shapes her work with character development, interpretation, and storytelling through song. Amy enjoys helping singers explore the theatrical side of performance, whether they sing classical, musical theater, or contemporary repertoire.
Amy emphasizes healthy technique, artistic interpretation, and confidence both in and out of performance settings. She also works with singers on acting skills and stage presence, helping them connect with their music and communicate with clarity.
Amy welcomes singers at every point in their musical development and looks forward to helping them work toward their individual goals.

Amy’s Mission
At Brandt Voice Studio, Amy helps singers of all experience levels develop healthy, confident, and authentic voices through evidence-based teaching and individualized support. Drawing on vocal pedagogy, vocal health, and voice therapy, she gives singers practical tools to understand their voices, build reliable technique, and work toward meaningful musical goals.
A Supportive Place To Grow
Learning to sing can feel personal and sometimes vulnerable. Brandt Voice Studio is a welcoming, judgment-free space where singers are encouraged to ask questions, take risks, and learn at their own pace. Amy believes growth happens when singers feel safe enough to explore, make mistakes, and try again, with progress celebrated at every stage.
The Goal
Every singer should leave each lesson with something they can take with them: a clearer understanding of their voice, practical exercises for continued growth, and greater confidence in their artistic choices. Technique is not the end goal. It is the foundation that gives singers the freedom to communicate, interpret, and share music in a way that feels honest, healthy, and fully their own.
